Situated in the heart of West Cornwall and forming part of the historic Bolitho Estate, Trewidden House is a resplendent 19th Century manor house bordered by Trewidden Garden, one of the Great Gardens of Cornwall. Still used by the Bolitho Family, the house, rated 4* Gold by Visit England is available to book all year round and is the most perfect place for large families or groups holidaying together and special occasions to be celebrated in style. Created by the Bolitho Family in the 19th Century, Trewidden Garden is a renowned Cornish Spring Garden with extensive collections of Camellias, Magnolias, Azaleas and one of the finest stands of Tree Ferns in the Northern Hemisphere. The garden is open to the public from February to September and has delicious fresh local food to sample in the tearoom. We are proud to be custodians of this very special place in Cornwall and invite you to come and spend some time away from the demands of every-day life to relax and unwind.

Originally planted by Thomas Bolitho in the 19th Century, the 15 acre garden incorporates a magnificent collection of over 300 Camellias and Magnolias alongside one of the largest tree fern dells in Europe and many other attractions.

We also have locally grown plants for sale along with delicious refreshments, Cornish cream teas and other locally produced items available to tantalise you in our Tearoom and shop.
