Snow at Trewidden

Exciting for some, unfortunately the recent snow caused havoc in gardens across the country, particularly in Cornwall where our spring gardens were just starting to come into bloom. The Trewidden Belle which was looking magnificent beforehand the bad weather, lost all of its blooms as did many of the Camellias in flower. Luckily for us, we have several other Magnolias which hadn’t yet started blooming, and hundreds of other Camellia plants so the garden is already starting to recover back to its normal springtime glory.

It did give Head Gardener Richard the opportunity to take some rather wonderful winter photographs however!
