After a stroll around the garden, why not have a light lunch or delicious homemade cream tea in our recently refurbished tea room. Our food is homemade with local fresh produce from local suppliers and bakers. The daily changing menu board typically features homemade soups, jacket potato’s, ploughmans, quiches and salads.
The lawn in front of the tearoom acts as a perfect sun trap with high hedges to the sides and lovely views in front. There are plenty of picnic tables and a wide open space perfect for children to have a play and let off any steam they might have left even after a walk around the garden.
As well as locally grown plants, we have a variety interesting items for sale in the tea room, such as aprons with local designs, artwork, prints, quince jelly and marmalade made by Mrs Bolitho. You may also enjoy browsing through our books, lovely local greeting cards and a variety of gifts.
The tea room and garden are available for hire at very reasonable rates in the evenings for private functions, this can also include the front lawn in front of Trewidden House. With views over Mounts Bay as the sun sets, it is the perfect place for champagne and canapes before your meal! Contact Jenny Olds at firstname.lastname@example.org for enquiries.
